Europe, Middle East and Africa

Macquarie has been active in Europe since the late 1980’s, in Africa since 2000 and the Middle East since 2005. Today Macquarie has over 1,400 people in 17 locations within the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Our growth in EMEA reflects Macquarie’s philosophy to expand selectively. Chosen market segments reflect our areas of particular expertise and market leadership including infrastructure, telecommunications, resources, energy, commodities, financial institutions and real estate.

Our activities in EMEA are complemented by the resources of Macquarie's international network and reflect the strength of our global business.

Our regional base is London with teams in Amsterdam, Bristol, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, Leeds, Luxembourg, Munich, Paris, Stockholm, Vienna and Zurich. In the Middle East, Macquarie has offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and in Africa Macquarie’s offices are located in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
