Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize

The Macquarie Group Collection has been supporting emerging Australian artists for more than 35 years, and the annual Emerging Artist Prize offers support to a new generation of visual artists.

Finalists' art will be displayed in the Emerging Artist Prize exhibition in The Art Space at 1 Elizabeth, Sydney. The exhibition will also be available for viewing online.

A selection of finalists’ art will be acquired by the Collection, with other works made available to the public for purchase; 100 per cent of proceeds goes directly to the artist.

The 2025 Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize is now open for entries.

Eligible artists are invited to submit one original work that relates to the Macquarie Group Collection theme, The Land and Its Psyche. There is no entry fee.

The winner will receive $A20,000 prize money. Each finalist will also receive a $A1,000 art transport voucher from International Art Services.
