Our Graduate and Intern recruitment process differs slightly for our opportunities. That means that recruitment occurs at various times and may not be finalised until September. Your Graduate Recruiter will inform you of the recruitment process for the role you have applied for.

Application open and close dates for our programs are listed on our website. While applications are open you can apply using our online application form. You will be required to submit some details about yourself, as well as your resume. If you're applying for Macquarie Capital or Macquarie Asset Management, you are also required to submit a cover letter.
You’ll receive an auto-generated email informing you that we have received your application.
The recruitment process may vary slightly for each of our teams, your recruiter will inform you of the process for the role you have applied for.
Your resume will be screened by our Graduate Recruitment Team and successful candidates will receive an invitation to complete a psychometric assessment.
The next stage of the process is typically a psychometric assessment, a standard and scientific method used to measure individuals' cognitive ability and behavioural style.
The information generated from this assessment, in combination with the other information gathered during the selection process, will be used to assist us in ensuring we have a comprehensive view of the match between you and the position you have applied for.
There is no pass or fail for the psychometric assessment.
Your recruiter will send you further information about the psychometric assessment and a link to practice assessments designed to help you familiarise yourself with the nature of the assessment. Please note that the practice assessment sent by your recruiter is the only authentic practice assessment for Macquarie.

If you are proceeding to the next round in the recruitment process, you’ll receive a call from one of our recruiters. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you and your career ambitions.
Following this, you may be invited into our offices for a face-to-face interview.
Next, you may be invited to attend further interviews with members of our team. The number of interviews will depend on the team and role you are applying for.
After your final interview, your recruiter will give you an estimated timeframe for when you will be contacted with feedback from your interview/s.
If you receive an offer from Macquarie, you will be required to complete reference checks and employment screening before you commence.
