Macquarie AirFinance announces new leasing agreements

Macquarie AirFinance, a global aircraft leasing company based in Dublin, Ireland, announced that it has, over the course of this year, entered into agreements with AirAsia, Air France, Air Malta, Air New Zealand, Andes Líneas Aéreas,  ASL Airlines France, Enter Air, Ernest Airlines, IndiGo, Pakistan International Airlines, South African Airways, Swift Air, Transavia, TUI fly and T’way Air for the lease of Airbus A319-100 aircraft, Airbus A320-200 aircraft, Boeing 737-700 aircraft, Boeing 737-800 aircraft and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. John Willingham, Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie AirFinance, said: “We are proud of the long-standing relationships we have with so many of our airline partners around the world and honored to welcome new customers."

In addition to these lease agreements and new customers, Macquarie AirFinance executed sale transactions for one Airbus A320-200 aircraft on lease to a customer in the Asia Pacific region, one Airbus A319-100 aircraft on lease to a North American airline customer, and one A319-100 aircraft returning off lease from a customer in North America. “These sales are part of Macquarie’s commitment to effective portfolio management and complement the focus on profitable growth,” said Liam Kavanagh, Chief Commercial Officer, Macquarie AirFinance. “The transactions follow the successful completion of the sale of a portfolio of ten used aircraft last year.”
