The new ACT Law Courts building accommodates the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Magistrates Court, Coroners Court and Children’s Court (including custodial services).
The new ACT Law Courts building will meet the Territory’s needs for the next 50 years in a functional, flexible and sustainable way.
Juris Partnership were chosen as the preferred Consortium as the expertise of the consortium parties and design of the facility best met the Territory’s requirements.
With an outcomes focused approach, Macquarie Capital drove the Consortium to incorporate future expansion space into the day-one facilities design to ensure the Territory’s objectives of future-proofing and minimising future disruption were achieved.
To determine utility consumption rates for the facility, Macquarie Capital worked with subcontractors, technical due diligence experts and financiers to understand, structure, forecast and competitively price.
Macquarie Capital provides independent management of the Special Purpose Vehicle subcontractors and of the interface with all other stakeholders.
Macquarie Capital’s structuring expertise created a robust and flexible commercial solution in response to the Projects complex development and operational staging.
