Macquarie donates to Victorian bushfire appeal

In response to the public appeal launched by Prime Minister Rudd and Victorian Premier Brumby, Macquarie Group has donated $1 million to the Australian Red Cross 2009 Victorian Bushfire Fund.

In addition, Macquarie Group Foundation - the philanthropic arm of Macquarie Group - will match all Macquarie Group staff donations to bushfire appeals.

Macquarie Group staff extend their deepest sympathies to all those affected by the bushfires in Victoria.
