Fitch report on Macquarie

Macquarie Group Limited (ASX:MQG; ADR:MQBKY) today noted that Fitch Ratings (Fitch), as part of a broader review of banking institutions and a similar review of Australia’s four major banks, has placed the ratings for Macquarie Group and subsidiaries, including Macquarie Bank Limited, on Rating Watch Negative.  Fitch noted in their release that this broad review has been ongoing for some time.
