The winners were assessed by an independent panel of judges and Alternative Credit Investor’s senior editorial team: Christian Faes, chief executive of Faes & Co and co-founder of LendInvest; Claire Madden, managing partner of Connection Capital; Aymen Mahmoud, managing partner at McDermott, Will & Emery; Neil Faulkner, managing director of P2P ratings and research firm 4th Way; and Mike Carter, senior policy adviser at Innovate Finance.
The judges looked at the positive impact that firms/funds are having on the industry, market reach and quality of products.
In the infrastructure debt category specifically, they also considered what delivers the best outcome for investors - including returns (but not limited solely to this), service, track record and expertise of the team.
No compensation was provided directly or indirectly in connection with this award.
