Ben Way
Group Head – Macquarie Asset Management

Ben is Group Head of Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and a member of Macquarie Group’s Executive Committee.
Before assuming his current responsibilities in 2021, Ben held several other senior positions across Macquarie, including CEO of Macquarie Group in Asia. Prior to joining the firm, he was Chairman and CEO of Taiwan Broadband Communications and a Management Consultant with Bain & Company.
Ben is a member of the Board of Directors of Mother’s Choice, a Hong Kong organization whose goal is to see every child in a safe, loving, and permanent family.
Ben is a Fellow of the 2017 class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Peter Burton
General Counsel

• Based in Sydney
Peter is the General Counsel of Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), a role he assumed in 2021. He is responsible for MAM’s Legal and Governance Team. Peter is also a member of the MAM Executive Committee and the MAM Credit Executive Committee.
During his tenure with Macquarie, Peter has been responsible for the legal function of the MAM Asset Finance business. He has been a key contributor to all strategic transactions undertaken by that business, including major aircraft portfolio acquisitions for Macquarie AirFinance, the establishment and divestment of Macquarie European Rail, and the establishment of Macquarie Rotorcraft Leasing.
He has experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital markets transactions both in private practice and at Macquarie. Peter has private practice experience at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) in Sydney and Linklaters in London.
Peter has a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales.
Holly Coleman
Chief Financial Officer

Holly is the Chief Financial Officer for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), a role she assumed in 2018. She leads a global team of finance professionals who are accountable for the financial management of the MAM business.
During her tenure with Macquarie, Holly has served as Head of Fund Financial Management, Regional Controller for the EMEA region, and Australian Regional Lead of the MAM Finance Team. She started out supporting the Equities business within Commodities and Global Markets.
Holly is a member of the MAM Executive Committee, serves as an Executive Sponsor for MAM’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, and sits on various boards of directors. Holly is passionate about DEI and is a mentor in the Women in Banking and Finance program in Australia.
Holly holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Australia), having trained with PwC Sydney.
Graeme Conway
Chief Commercial Officer

Graeme is the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Solutions for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). MAM’s Solutions business is focused on providing clients better access to MAM’s products and providing tailored solutions to clients’ needs. As Head of Solutions, he is responsible for MAM’s Secondaries, Wealth Solutions, Insurance Solutions, Impact Solutions, and Insurance Facility businesses.
Since joining Macquarie, Graeme has held several senior positions, including Head of Macquarie Capital Europe and Head of Real Assets in the Americas.
Through his career, Graeme has worked in Australia, the UK, and the US, and has extensive experience across the infrastructure and asset management sectors. He serves as an Investment Committee member across MAM’s Secondaries business and as a Board Member of InEvo, MAM’s reinsurance subsidiary.
Graeme has a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and management from the University of Western Australia.
James Dyckhoff
Chief Operating Officer

James is the Chief Operating Officer for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), a role he assumed in 2020. He also leads MAM’s Enterprise team, working closely with senior leadership on the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring employees are equipped with the data, technology, and skills to continue to grow the business. James serves on the MAM Executive Committee and chairs the MAM Operating Committee.
During his tenure with Macquarie, James has held several senior roles in both Sydney and London, including Chief Operating Officer for MAM’s infrastructure and real assets business, Chief Financial Officer for MAM, and Chief Financial Officer for Macquarie Group in EMEA.
He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from University College London in Russian language and literature. He is a chartered accountant, having trained with PwC in London and Moscow.
Peter Glaser
Head of Credit

Peter is Head of Credit for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), overseeing a global team that connects client capital with a full range of investment opportunities across our Fixed Income, Leveraged Credit, and Private Credit capabilities.
He is also Chair of the MAM Credit Executive Committee, Chief Investment Officer of Private Credit, and a member of the MAM Executive Committee.
Before joining Macquarie, Peter was head of European Direct Lending for Alcentra, Portfolio Manager of its related funds, and Chair of the Investment Committee. He was also Vice Chair of Alcentra’s Executive Management Committee. Peter has more than 35 years of diverse financial services experience across North America and Europe, including as a partner at KKR and senior roles at Barclays and Goldman Sachs.
He is Chair Emeritus and a board member of the Midori Foundation (doing business as Midori & Friends) and a trustee of the London Music Fund, two organisations dedicated to providing high-quality music education to students in underserved communities in New York City and London, respectively.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Leighton Harris
Head of Human Resources

Leighton is Head of Human Resources (HR) for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), responsible for the overall strategy for MAM seeking to attract, recruit, reward, and retain the best people. He is a member of Macquarie Group’s HR Leadership Team and serves on the MAM Executive Committee.
Leighton’s fields of HR expertise are in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and change management, international labour relations, and remuneration design and implementation.
Leighton joined Macquarie as Head of HR in EMEA, before being appointed to his current role in 2014. Prior to joining Macquarie, Leighton held senior HR positions at Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, and Fortis Investment Management.
He holds a number of nominee directorships at Macquarie.
Leighton is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds both a Master of Arts in HR management from Middlesex University and a Bachelor of Arts in geography from Northumbria University.
Leigh Harrison

Leigh is Head of Real Assets for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), a role he assumed in April 2021. He provides global leadership for the firm’s Real Assets business, which is the world’s largest infrastructure manager and a major investor in renewable energy, agriculture, and natural assets, supporting the growth of the business across new sectors and markets.
Since joining Macquarie, Leigh has served in several senior positions, including Head of Real Assets in EMEA, and was part of the team that established MAM’s first three European infrastructure funds.
Leigh is a member of the Macquarie Group Foundation Committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Kristina Kloberdanz
Chief Sustainability Officer

Kristina is the Chief Sustainability Officer for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), responsible for the firm’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments, which includes managing its global portfolio to meet net zero emissions.
Before joining Macquarie, Kristina was Chief Sustainability Officer for Mastercard and spent two decades at IBM leading global corporate responsibility strategy, integration, and brand reputation.
Kristina previously served on the boards of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association and the Advisory Board of Outward Bound International. She has a passion for the arts and was formerly a member of the Corporate Advisory Board for New York City Ballet’s School of American Ballet and the boards of Dallas Ballet, Ballet Oklahoma, and the New York Junior League. She previously chaired the World Economic Forum’s Trillion Trees US Stakeholder Council.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
Shawn Lytle

Shawn is Head of Equities & Multi-Asset for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), where he is responsible for overseeing the business, investment teams, and strategies for clients. He also serves as the President of Delaware Funds by Macquarie® and oversees registered vehicle governance globally across MAM. More broadly, he serves as Head of Americas for Macquarie Group. Shawn is a member of the MAM Equities & Multi-Asset Executive Committee.
He has more than 30 years of asset management experience. Before joining MAM, he held several management and equity investment roles at UBS Asset Management and various roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Shawn is a member of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) Executive Committee. He is also a board member of OppNet and Philadelphia Financial Scholars, in addition to being the former Chairman of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP).
He received a Bachelor of Science in marketing from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Amy Mahony
Chief Risk Officer

Amy is the Chief Risk Officer for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). In this role, Amy leads the MAM Risk Team, which oversees and manages the risks that arise in MAM business activities. Amy is a member of the MAM Executive Committee and the MAM Management Committee.
She has more than 20 years of experience. Prior to her current role, Amy was the Head of Compliance for Macquarie Group, where she led a team that was responsible for ensuring that all compliance risks were appropriately assessed and managed across the firm. During this time, Amy was a member of the Macquarie Group Risk Committee and the Board Governance and Compliance Committee. Prior to that, Amy was the Regional Head of Compliance for Australia and New Zealand, and she was the lead for Macquarie Capital Compliance globally from 2011 to 2016. Before joining Macquarie, Amy held senior compliance roles at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and Sydney.
Amy has a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in economics from the University of Sydney.
Phil Peters
Head of Client Solutions Group

Phil is Head of Macquarie Asset Management’s (MAM’s) Client Solutions Group, focusing on new business initiatives, product development, fund formation, capital raising, and client relations.
Phil has more than 30 years of experience in the acquisition, restructuring, disposal, and ongoing management of infrastructure assets and boutique investment firms.
Before assuming his current role, Phil worked for Challenger Limited in London and Sydney and was responsible for establishing the Fidante Partners multi-boutique platform in Europe.
He was previously the Head of European Private Placements at Macquarie from 2002 to 2007 and played a pivotal role in the acquisition of several high-profile companies during this time.
Phil has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Durham University.
Eric Wurtzebach
Head of Real Estate

• Based in Jacksonville
Eric is Head of Real Estate for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), driving the investment in and development of thriving workplaces, modern living environments, and optimized supply chains. He is a member of the MAM Executive Committee and sits on the Investment Committee for both Macquarie Real Estate Partners Asia I and Macquarie Real Estate Partners.
Previously, he was Head of Americas Real Estate, where he led MAM Real Estate’s principal investment and asset management activities in the Americas, which included partnerships with Logistics Property Company (LPC), Greystar Real Estate Partners, and RHP Properties.
Eric brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate advisory, principal investment, and investment management to his roles with the firm. Since 2013, Eric has advised on transactions for US multifamily across development, core, and value-add strategies for clients and principal investments. He oversaw the expansion of Macquarie’s principal investments in the Americas region, including the launch of LPC’s first two develop-to-core ventures.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Trinity University.
