Opportunity

Brunel Pension Partnership is one of eight Local Government Pension Scheme Pools in the UK, bringing together close to £30 billion of investments from likeminded funds. The pooling project was announced by the UK Government in the 2015 summer budget. Since then, the various pools have been working hard to set up and launch various funds of all asset classes to accommodate the investments.


Local government pooling transitions are unique in their complexity, demanding forensic attention to detail and significant coordination to ensure multiple stakeholders are aligned in terms of their timing and investment objectives across a broad spectrum of asset classes.
