ASX listed securities
Macquarie Group Capital Notes 3 (MCN3) are unsecured, subordinated notes issued by Macquarie Group Limited. They are non-cumulative and mandatorily convertible. The MCN3 are quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under the code 'MQGPC'.
The MCN3 were listed on the ASX on 7 June 2018. The MCN3 offer raised $A1,000 million through the issue of 10 million MCN3 at $A100 each.
On 19 August 2024 the terms of the MCN3 were amended to facilitate an offer for eligible holders of MCN3 to reinvest their MCN3 into Macquarie Group Capital Notes 7 (MCN7) (the Reinvestment Offer). Holders who participated in the Reinvestment Offer had their MCN3 resold to Citigroup Global Markets Australia Pty Limited with the resale proceeds applied towards the subscription price for MCN7.
5,770,189 MCN3 were redeemed on 16 September 2024 in connection with the Reinvestment Offer and 4,229,811 MCN3 remain on issue.
The Scheduled Mandatory Exchange Date is 15 December 2027.
