Macquarie is celebrating more than 30 years of growth and innovation in the United States. We are sharing stories and highlighting contributions to Macquarie’s growth over three decades by our people who made it possible.
Milissa Hutchinson is the US Head of Wealth Distribution in Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). She provides strategic leadership for the firm’s wealth business, which recently consolidated all US investment solutions under the Macquarie name. This rebrand includes the Delaware Funds by Macquarie®, Ivy and Central Park Group offerings. Milissa is excited about the rebrand and its aim to simplify and improve the client experience.
During my nine years at Macquarie, I’ve witnessed the company grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions, which it does by progressively and patiently building expertise in new disciplines and expanding into adjacent areas.
Macquarie’s entry into the US wealth market came through a series of acquisitions, building on our expertise in wealth management in other markets. We’ve worked diligently to integrate the best aspects of these acquisitions – including deep client relationships and a history of developing innovative products – with the qualities that Macquarie is known for globally, such as being an entrepreneurial, bottom-up firm. It’s exciting to see how we’ve brought together the best of different cultures to create a unique identity and strengthen the distinguished brand we proudly offer to our clients in the US wealth market.
Celebrating more than 30 years of growth while undergoing a rebrand allows us to clearly define who we are and who we aspire to be, and to simplify the client experience.
At Macquarie, I’m continually motivated to build new businesses within our broader existing framework. It’s truly a unique aspect of our culture.

We are fortunate to have such a storied legacy to build upon and are excited to reach the final step in this effort.
The rebrand aims to simplify the client experience and reinforce Macquarie’s commitment to excellence in global investment capabilities and platform expertise, while delivering sustained, superior results over the long term.
